A man in his forties standing in hard directional light against a concrete wall

Men’s health

You were told
it was age.Nobody checked
the number.

Fatigue, low drive and brain fog have at least five causes, and only one of them is testosterone. We test for all of them.

  • Labs included
  • No insurance needed
  • Physician-reviewed
38.7%of men over 45 screened in one primary-care study were in the hypogonadal range.Mulligan et al., International Journal of Clinical Practice, 2006. A screening figure, not a diagnosis. Symptoms and repeat morning labs still decide.

What men tell us

Nobody books an appointmentabout a blood test.

They book it because of one of these. Six sentences, said almost word for word, by men who had been carrying them for two or three years first.

  • I'm tired in a way sleep doesn't fix.
  • I train the same as always and nothing moves.
  • My drive is gone, and I haven't said that out loud.
  • I lose the thread halfway through the meeting.
  • I'm short with people who did nothing wrong.
  • My doctor ran one test and said I was fine.

None of that is a character defect. All of it is data.

Low energy gets treated as a discipline problem, which is exactly why men wait years and arrive apologising for taking up the appointment. It is a symptom, it is measurable, and it has a short list of causes worth ruling out. Whether testosterone is one of them in your case is a question with an actual answer.

If it is the one we can treat

Nobody misses the number. They miss being themselves.

Treated correctly, the things that come back are not the things you would put in a brochure. They are smaller and they matter more.

A man in his forties taking a concrete staircase two steps at a time in bright daylight
You take the stairs without thinking about it.Not a training milestone. The ordinary, unremarkable energy you used to have and stopped noticing until it left.
A man in his forties mid-set at a barbell in a minimal training space
The work starts paying you back.Training the same as always and seeing nothing is the complaint we hear most. Recovery and response are the first things to return, and they return before the mirror does.
A man in his forties laughing with his teenage son on a couch
You stop being short with people who did nothing wrong. Most men do not come in about their temper. It is usually the change their family notices first, and the one men are quietest about afterwards.

Photographs are of models and are for illustration only. They do not depict Revani patients or treatment outcomes. Response to treatment varies, and treatment is only appropriate where low testosterone is confirmed.

Before a prescription

Five things cause this. One of them is testosterone.

Fatigue, low drive and brain fog are real symptoms and they are also completely non-specific.

1 in 5

How often a clinic that starts every man on testosterone will happen to be right.

The other four are treated for the wrong thing, for as long as they keep paying for it.
  • An underactive thyroid

    Treated with thyroid medication

Produces the same fatigue, the same weight gain and the same flat mood. It is a single blood test, and missing it means treating the wrong organ for a year.

  • Low iron, or anaemia

    Treated by correcting the deficiency

If you are not carrying enough oxygen, nothing else will make you feel energetic. It shows up on a standard panel and it is often the whole answer.

  • Obstructive sleep apnoea

Treated with a sleep study first

You can be unconscious for eight hours and never reach deep sleep. Treating it frequently restores energy on its own, and it can raise testosterone without a prescription.

  • Depression

    Treated as its own condition

Low drive, low concentration, low interest. The overlap with low testosterone is almost total, and men are far more likely to describe it as tiredness than as mood.

  • Low testosterone

This is the one we treat with testosterone

Confirmed by two morning blood draws on separate days, read alongside your symptoms and the four causes above. When it is genuinely present, it is very treatable.

This is why the evaluation comes first. Not to slow you down, but because four of the five answers are not the one you came here expecting.

The panel

One number, twice,in the morning.

Testosterone swings through the day and between days, so a single afternoon reading is not a diagnosis and should never start therapy. You were almost certainly given exactly one.

14

Markers on the panel, each with a reason attached, published in full.

Which get ordered depends on your history and symptoms. A clinician decides that rather than a fixed bundle, because ordering tests that cannot change the decision is a way of looking thorough rather than being thorough.
The whole panel, and why each line is on it

What you get

Labs, a diagnosis,and somebody accountable.

Included in the program

  • A physician evaluation read by a clinician licensed in your state
  • The full baseline lab panel, drawn locally and reviewed line by line
  • A diagnosis, or a clear explanation of what is causing this instead
  • Testosterone therapy where it is confirmed and appropriate, from a licensed U.S. pharmacy
  • Dose set to your own results and adjusted as they change
  • Follow-up labs and haematocrit monitoring for as long as treatment continues
  • Direct messaging with your care team between check-ins
  • Discreet shipping, and a named clinician who stays with your case

What it costs

Quoted in writing after your labs are read, and before you commit to anything.

The figure depends on whether testosterone is prescribed at all, and on what else the panel turns up, so naming it before a clinician has seen your results would be a guess. The evaluation costs nothing to complete and no insurance is required at any point.

Compounded medications are prepared by licensed U.S. pharmacies and are not FDA-approved. Your clinician will tell you whether what you are prescribed is FDA-approved or compounded, and why that one was chosen.

Straight answers

What men askbefore they commit.

If yours is not here, a clinician answers it during your consultation rather than after you have paid for something.

Safety and side effects
Will I definitely be prescribed testosterone?

No. Anyone promising that before seeing your labs is not evaluating you, they are selling to you. If your levels are normal, or the cause turns out to be something else, we will tell you and treat what is actually there.

What if my levels come back normal?

Then testosterone is not your answer and we will say so directly. We will look at the other causes of the same symptoms, treat the ones we can, and refer you where that is genuinely the right next step. A no is still care, and you will understand the reasoning behind it.

Is it real testosterone?

If it is prescribed, it comes from a licensed U.S. pharmacy. Your clinician will tell you plainly whether what you are getting is FDA-approved or compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and we will not imply otherwise.

Will this affect my fertility?

It can, and this is the single most important thing to raise early. Exogenous testosterone suppresses sperm production, and recovery is not always quick or complete. If you may want children, say so at the evaluation and the plan is built differently from the start.

Do I have to inject myself?

Not necessarily. Injectable and topical preparations both exist and they suit different men. Which one is right depends on your levels, your routine and your preference, and it is a conversation rather than a default.

How long before I feel different?

Some men notice energy and mood within a few weeks. Changes in body composition and strength take months, not weeks. Your clinician will set expectations against your own results rather than a marketing timeline, and if nothing has moved we change the plan.

Am I on this for life?

Possibly, and you are entitled to know that before you start. Testosterone therapy is usually ongoing, and stopping typically means symptoms return. Where the cause is reversible, treating that instead is the better outcome and we will pursue it first.

What about my heart and my prostate?

Both are why monitoring is not optional. We take a baseline before anything is prescribed, we follow haematocrit and PSA on a schedule, and significant cardiac history changes the risk conversation. If it is not safe for you, that is a reason not to treat.

Do you need my insurance?

No. No insurance is required at any point, and nothing is charged to complete the evaluation and find out where you stand.

You have been meaning to do this for a while

Nothing about this gets clearer by waiting another year, and the first step is a blood test and a conversation.

Start my evaluation

About three minutes. Nothing is prescribed at this step and nothing is charged.
