A consultation, end to end
Nothing is chargeduntil someone says yes.
You can go through the entire evaluation, have a clinician read it, and find out whether you are a candidate, before any card is charged. Here is the whole sequence, with the parts that take time marked as taking time.
About three minutes. Free, and nothing is prescribed at this step.
- Minute 0You answer the intakeAround three minutes. The questions branch on what you report, so a longer history means a longer form.
- Within a dayA clinician licensed in your state reads itUsually one business day. Your state is matched to a clinician before review starts, not after.
- If labs are neededAn order goes out, and you choose whereHormone programs almost always need them. Weight and hair programs frequently do not.
- Two to four daysIf it is prescribed, it shipsPlain packaging with no branding on the outside. Nothing identifies what is inside or who sent it.
- OngoingSomebody keeps watchingDose changes, side effects, and the question of whether to continue at all. Messaging is included, not billed per note.
What it costs to find out
Finding out is free.It is the only honest way to sell this.
A service that charges for the evaluation has a reason to approve everybody, because the revenue arrives whether or not treatment does. We would rather be paid for treating people, which means the answer can genuinely be no.
Program pricing is shown before you commit to anything and is confirmed in writing after the clinical decision, not before it. No insurance is needed and none is billed.
How this can end
Three endings, and two of them are not a prescription.
Most services in this category have one ending, which is why their intake feels like a checkout. An evaluation that can only approve you is not an evaluation, and the two other outcomes are the reason to trust the first one.
TreatedMost people
A clinician prescribes, at a starting dose they chose for you, with the reasoning written into your medical record. Treatment begins and the monitoring starts with it.
ReferredNot a rejection
Something we found needs a service we are not — a sleep study, a cardiology opinion, an in-person examination, a psychiatric service. We tell you what we saw and where to take it. Being routed somewhere better is the consultation working, not failing.
DeclinedAnd told why
Something in your history means this medication is not safe for you, or not yet. You get the specific reason rather than a generic refusal, you are told what would change the answer if anything would, and you are not charged.
Whether you can talk to a person, and when a video call is required
Most of this runs asynchronously, which is the point — you answer questions when it suits you and a clinician reviews when it suits them, and neither of you waits on the other. It is faster than scheduling and it produces a better history, because people write more honestly than they speak.
Some situations need a conversation, and in those cases a clinician will ask for one rather than guess: an unclear history, a medication interaction that needs unpicking, a symptom that reads differently out loud. You can also request a call at any point without giving a reason and without an additional fee. Certain states require a live visit before a first prescription, and where that applies you will be told at intake rather than after.
What you are actually buying
The medication is the cheap part. The care around it is the program.
You can buy a vial of almost anything on the internet. What is difficult to buy is somebody who knows your history, adjusts the dose when your body argues with it, and is willing to tell you to stop. That is what the monthly price is for.
The medication itselfMonthly
Compounded or commercial, at the dose your clinician set, shipped to your door in packaging that says nothing about its contents. Supplies arrive before the previous one runs out, and if a shipment is late you are not the one who has to notice.
The clinician who prescribed itUnmetered
Message them about a side effect, a dose that feels wrong, or a week that went badly, and a clinician answers — the same practice that made the original decision, with your history in front of them. There is no per-message charge and no separate consultation fee for changing course.
Dose changes as they are needed
Going up, holding, and coming back down are all normal clinical events rather than upsells or restarts. Nobody is charged for a titration and nobody is kept on a dose because the next one costs more.
Labs, when they change the answer
Ordered when a result would alter the decision and skipped when it would not. For hormone programs that means baseline and follow-up panels as a matter of course; for others it may mean none at all.
A review roughly every three months
Whether this is still working, still tolerated, and still worth continuing. Staying on a medication indefinitely is a decision that has to be made again, and the review is where it gets made.
There is no contract and no cancellation fee. You can stop at the end of any month, and if you are stopping a medication that should be tapered, a clinician will tell you how rather than let you work it out alone.
Where this is available
Licensure is matched before review, not after you have paid.
A clinician can only treat you where they hold a licence, so your state decides who reads your case. We check that at the start of the intake rather than at the end of the checkout.
Is the first thing the intake establishes, because it determines whether we can help you at all.
If we are not licensed where you live, you are told on the first screen and nothing further is collected. We would rather lose the sign-up than take money for a consultation that cannot legally happen. This website does not write prescriptions and does not hold your medical record. Intake answers, laboratory results, clinician notes and messages live in the practice’s medical record system. How the practice is set up
You now know more than you needed to
The evaluation is three minutes and it costs nothing, which makes it a strange thing to keep putting off.Find out whether any of this applies to you.
